Machine Tool Supply and the Milton Granquist Company are pleased to announce that effective on April 27th, 2009, we will be combining our operations to form a much stronger sales and distribution organization.

The Milton Granquist Company was started in 1944 as a family business and has been selling Machine Tools and Hardinge workholding products in our marketplace for over 60 years. During that tenure, they have become synonymous with Hardinge and Machine Tools. They have earned a tremendous amount of respect with customers and suppliers in our territory, and we are very excited to be associated with that history, experience and expertise.

Machine Tool Supply is a regional distributor of cutting tools, industrial supplies and CNC Machine Tools for over sixty years.

Our combined organization will have a much larger breadth of Hardinge workholding inventory as well as the most progressive product offering of CNC Machine Tools in the marketplace today. We will be consolidating inventories in our Eagan facility to enable us to be a one stop shop for Machinery, workholding, service and machining supplies.

We are pleased to be launching our new web site. The new site is a significant upgrade to our image on the Internet. We have resigned the site to better differentiate our product lines and to provide customers with a simpler and more intuitive method of finding information about our products and suppliers. The new site will also allow increased visibility for our primary suppliers and products.

We are excited to have recently launched a new service to all of our customers. This technology and service is unique to Machine Tool Supply and is not provided by any other regional stocking distributor in our market.

We now automatically acknowledge all orders via email. These acknowledgements include all pertinent order line item details to keep our customers better informed about the status of orders they place with us.

We also acknowledge updates of delivery dates to all customers on all Non-Stock and Direct Ship orders automatically via email. This will allow our customer to stay more informed about the delivery of their items to allow for better manufacturing planning.

Additionally, we will soon be rolling out order shipment confirmations. These confirmations will give shipped and backordered quantities, as well as shipment tracking number information.

Fidia, founded in 1974, develops, manufactures and sells Numerical Controls, Drives and Milling Machines for moulds and dies and aerospace applications.
